Bhulf Tón led by 2-9 to 2-5 at half time, the goals coming from Andrew Crawford who finished well after a line-breaking run by Sean Penny and Dan O'Neill who netted the other, after a through ball from Conor Sheppard was gathered by Caolan Ward who popped the pass to the overlapping O'Neill.

Saran O Fionnagain, who had a fine game accounted for three first half points one of which was a solo “2 pointer” direct from his own kickout. Kyle Moran had opened the scoring with a fine point “on the loop”.

The second half was a much cagier affair with only nine points scored in total between the teams as both defences held firm.

Ó Fionnagain had a hand in many of those second half scores in an excellent personal all-round performance. Ross Gallagher, Oisin Martin, Dan O'Neill, Sean Penny, Shane McKeever Caolan Ward, Conor Sheppard and Eoin Donegan were also prominent in a hardworking team performance.
