Navan O’Mahony’s 0-12 Dunshaughlin 0-12
There wasn't a cloud in the sky over Paddy O'Brien Park as O’Mahony’s and Dunshaughlin played out a draw on Sunday morning.
The visitors opened the scoring in the third minute, with Dean Halpin raising a white flag in response at the opposite end of the pitch. Midfielder Jack Flynn finished an impressive run by taking the lead with a good score.
In the tenth minute, Dunshaughlin hit two scores in quick succession to regain the lead. On the midway mark, the sides exchanged points with Eoin Joyce pointing a free for the home charges.
Tiarnán Black levelled on the sixteenth minute mark and the visitors fisted a point with ten minutes remaining to take the lead. The sides were level yet again following a McCarthy free in the 23rd minute before late points from Joyce and Paul Cunninham left two points between the sides approaching half time.
A clarification from the referee meant that the teams went in level, with six points apiece at the break

Dunshaughlin opened the scoring almost immediately in the second half, with Joyce putting the sides level a few minutes later. In the tenth minute, the visitors took a narrow lead again, but an impressive two-pointer free from Joyce reversed the advantage.
O’Mahony’s had a number of opportunities to extend the lead with goals, but were denied by a combination of the post and impressive saves from the Dunshaughlin netminder.
Paddy Yourell extended the lead with a well-taken point, but Dunshaughlin enjoyed a ten minute period of dominance, kicking four points in a row to go two ahead towards the end. With two minutes on the clock, Joyce split the posts with an effort from play and one the cusp of the final whistle, Tiarnán Black ensured that O’Mahony’s earned a point from the game.
