Drumree may not have come away with the result they wanted, but their determination and fight were on full display in a tough encounter against a strong St. Pat’s side.

The final scoreline of 0-5 to 3-21 doesn’t fully reflect the effort and commitment shown by the away team, who battled to the very end.

From the outset, Drumree showed no fear, taking the game to their opponents and working hard across the pitch. Joe O’Brien was a standout performer, putting in a tireless shift as he fought for every ball and drove his team forward. 

Alongside him, Darragh Carolan was another stand out on the field, throwing himself into every challenge and refusing to back down against a well-drilled St. Pat’s attack. His determination and defensive efforts helped keep Drumree in the contest.

While the final result was a tough one, with players like O’Brien and Carolan leading by example, Drumree will only grow stronger as the season progresses.

The team will regroup, learn from this experience, and come back stronger in the next battle. Better days lie ahead for this committed group of players, and this performance will be something to build on as they continue to push forward. On to the next!
