Dunderry 1-13 Kildalkey 1-14
Tháinig Dún Doire agus Cill Dealga le chéile i nDún Geanainn an lá tar éis Lá Fhéile Pádraig do bhabhta 3 de chupán Brendan Davis.
Evan Nolan opened the scoring from play. Kildalkey pointed from a free as did Nolan before Kildalkey struck two from play and another free to leave it 0-2 to 0-4.
Fagan pucked out to Coogan who off loaded to Ó Laoire who popped a hand pass to Martin who picked out Barron who drilled over his first point since joining the adult senior hurling ranks.
Kildalkey missed from their next attack and once again Dunderry got the puck out away smartly. This time Coogan was allowed to travel as far as he needed to split the posts to level proceedings.
Frees were exchanged before Kelly rattled the Kildalkey net with a superbly taken goal. A kildalkey point each side of another finely taken Barron point meant that Tommy Leaveys men held a one point advantage at the break. 1-7 to 0-9
The second half started with the same tit for tat, the only difference was that Dunderry were relying on placed ball for scores. A well finished goal for the lads in the blue corner put them in the driving seat leading 1 - 10 to 1 -13.
The next three scores went to level proceedings. Two frees from Nolan and a sweet point off the stick from Jamie Duffy made a surging run up the sideline.
It wasn't to be a deserving draw for Dunderry however as Kildalkey were awarded and scored a free to snatch a victory.
