Division 4 FL

Kilbride: 1-14 Oldcastle: 3:05

Kilbride’s division four team played their second game of the league against Oldastle on Sunday evening in Kilbride. 

They started off with two points from Aideen Reilly, Kilbride showed a strong sense of attack which resulted in great scores. Kilbride had some unfortunate unsuccessful goal chances, but sure enough one was scored before half time.

Half time score: Kilbride 1-06 / Oldcastle 1-04

Kilbride added lots more points to the scoreboard. Oldcastle put on a good performance, but it wasn’t the match of Kilbride, who secured the three point win.

Division 8 FL

Kilbride: 3-08 Eastern Gaels: 4-17

Kilbride played Eastern Gaels at 2:30 on a very warm and sunny Sunday afternoon. Eastern Gaels secured the first point, but Erica Reilly added on to Kilbrides scoreboard shortly after. Kilbride took the lead by a point.

The Eastern Gaels got a few more scores in the first half, the half time score being:

Eastern Gaels: 2-11 / Kilbride: 1-04.

Kilbride came back stronger in the second half, great assists were made for scores.  Kilbride persisted, but the Eastern Gaels were the stronger team. Kilbride played until the end, finishing the game with a super goal from Lily Donnelly.
