Sad to report the passing of John Ludlow. His club took to social media to pay tribute to the proud Bellewstown man.
It is with great sadness that our club learned of the sudden passing of our clubman John Ludlow or better known as McGlue.
John was a proud Bellewstown man and an even bigger GAA man having been Chairperson of Bellewstown GAA. During his involvement with the club he was also club secretary, a committee member and a selector with both Bellewstown and more recently our amalgamated Duleek-Bellewstown GFC.
John was also a referee for many years before retiring to his most recent role as umpire, where he was one of Liam Reddy’s right hand men beside the goals.
We’d like to offer our sincerest condolences to John’s family and friends.
Thank you John, for your contribution to our club and the wider GAA community, you will be sorely missed from our sidelines.
