Na Fianna 3-11 Kilmessan 1-5

After their first success in 2019 Na Fianna made it a three in a row of Meath Senior Camogie championship title wins with this comfortable victory over former champions Kilmessan played in ideal conditions at Páirc Tailteann. It was the first time the Meath Camogie Senior decider was hosted at the Navan venue since 2005.

Last years All Ireland Intermediate finalists dominated the opening half. Erin Leddy and Kerrie Cole posted early points. Leah Denny replied for Kilmessan. The teams were tied at 0-2 each at the end of the first quarter before Na Fianna took control. Katie Kelly and Aoife Carey pointed before Kelly and Cole raised green flags. Na Fianna went to the dressing room 2-5 to 0-2 in front.

Aileen Donnelly (2) and Aoibheann Lally pointed in the early stages of the second half to keep Kilmessan in the game but between the 17th and 21st minute Na Fianna had the title in the bag. Brooke Flynn got their third goal, Aedin Slattery, Carey and Leah Devine raised white flags to open up a 13 point lead. Dennehy got in for Kilmessan’s goal with seven minutes to go but Cole and Carey rounded off a good hours work for Na Fianna with points and they ran out comfortable winners.

After the game Brian Molloy, Uachtarán of the Camogie Association presented the Player of the Match award to Leah Devine before Kieran Devaney presented the Senior Cup to captain Elmer Fagan.

Na Fianna scorers: Kerri Cole 1-3, Katie Kelly 1-1, Brooke Flynn 1-0, Aoife Carey 0-3, Leah Devine, Erin Leddy, Emma Regan and Aedin Slattery 0-1 each
