Meath County Council will have the use of a portion of the GAA car park on the Commons Road during upgrade work to the Fairgreen.

Chairman Jason Plunkett said they had come to an agreement to lease part of the car park with the council paying €300 a month for six months and also upgrading lighting and CCTV in the car park.

The car park on the Common Road was site of the old Navan Swimming Pool which was council owned. The land handed over to Meath GAA under a number of fixed agreements.
