Kildalkey 6-31 Dunboyne 2-9
Kildalkey met Dunboyne in Round 4 of the Meath SHC on Friday night in Trim and powered their way to another big win.
In a one sided affair the village led from pillar to post with David Harmon getting them up and running from half back.
Brian O Halloran and Nicky Potterton’s rich vein of form continues and both terrorised the Dunboyne defence and both raised green flags in the half Brian got the first and Nicky twice hit the net as well as scoring fine points as they showed their ruthless streak.
Paddy Barnwell Conor and Evan Fitzgerald Brin Kelly Gary Kelly and Luke Rickard all scored fine points as the blues led by 3-17 to 0-4 with only 1 of Dunboynes points coming from play thanks to a tight Kildalkey defence.
Last years county champions kept the foot down in the second half as they added more goals from Conor Fitzgerald Evan Fitzgerald and Niall McNally as the cruised to a 6-31 to 2-9 victory.
The team know there are going to be much tougher challenges ahead from here on and have to be on their guard with only 1 more round before the knockout stages.
