IHC Group B: Rathmolyon on top in battle of the villages

In the third round of the Intermediate Hurling Championship, the men in green got off to a good start with two points from Vincent Ward.  

Kildalkey came well into the game with an early goal, however Rathmolyon responded straight away with a goal from Darren Hennessy. 

Points from Cathal Regan, Joey Christie along with a goal and point from Kevin Mulligan brought the half time score to Rathmolyon- 2-11 Kildalkey 1-06

Rathmolyon came out strongly in the second half with points from Jarlath Ennis, Stephen Mulligan and Cathal Regan stretching Rathmolyon's lead. 

Kildallkey hit back with 1-03 without reply from Rathmolyon but Rathmolyon took control in the final minutes with an Arthur Doyle goal putting the gloss on a fine team display and a final score of Rathmolyon 3-19 Kildalkey 2-10
