Moynalty travelled to Navan O’Mahonys on Sunday morning, knowing a place in the semi final and second place in the league was secured, but that did not affect their mentality as another strong performance saw them leave with another two points.

The game was played with 14 a side, and Moynalty's forwards used the extra space to their advantage with some excellent scores. Half time score Moynalty 1-10 Navan O’Mahonys 1-05.

The away side continued to dominate into the second half, with brothers Kian and Paul Lynch scoring 3-05 between them. Each forward got on the score sheet, showcasing the talent at the disposal of management. The game concludes the group stage of the league, with Moynalty picking up a hugely impressive 10 wins out of 11 games, earning them a semi final game against Kilmainhamwood to follow next, with the fixture yet date and time yet to be confirmed. The winners of the semi final ties will seal promotion to Division 4 for next year.
