FL Div 2: Race for semi-final places heats up

Withn three rounds remaining to battle to reach the top four and stay out of the bottom four intensified after last nights round 8 results.

Seneschalstown halted a two game losing streak with a narrow win over Duleek Bellewstown to go back to the top of the division on score difference. Seven points from Alan Mulvany and a late winner from Eoin Finnegan sealed the win for the Yellow Furze men.

Curraha defeated Walterstown in their round 8 fixture last Friday making it an impressive five wins in a row.

Dunshauglin won their third game in a row and move into third place with 11 points to spare over Trim at Lomans Park.

St. Michaels continued their winning ways with a comfortable ten point victory over bottom of the table Syddan. 

Moynalvey picked up another point after their draw with 5th place Oldcastle to keep alive their hopes of avoiding the relegation play off.

Meath Hill recorded an important win over St. Pats but still remain in the bottom four on score difference.
