FL Div 2: Syddan no match for Curraha

Senior side Curraha delivered to a very strong performance to beat a Syddan side, missing a few regulars at Joe McDermott Park, Curraha.
Curraha opened brightly and got into a strong lead in the first half. They were powered by a strong spine which included the classy Diarmuid Moriarty at midfield, Niall Murphy driving forward from centre back and the impressive James McEntee pulling the strings from centre forward.
Half time score was Curraha 1-10 Syddan 0-2
Syddan improved their scoring rate with the second half with scores from Daire Rowe, Cormac Rowe, Ben Blakemore & Michael Fedigan. Curraha, however continued to press strongly and but for some good saves from the excellent Myles Avers, the margin could have been higher.
Curraha were impressive on the evening and will be ones to watch in the Summer when their full squad available
