Kilbride 2-9 Blackhall Gaels 0-14

Kilbride ladies travelled to Kilcloon Tuesday night in round 6 of their league campaign. Kilbride started strong with a goal from Emily Keenan. Blackhall got into the game gradually, but both teams found scores hard to come by with great defending from both sides. A further three points from Emily Keenan and Aideen Reilly saw Kilbride finishing the half one point ahead.

The second half was end to end football but like the first half scores were hard to come by. Blackhall went in front 15 minutes in but another goal from Emily Keenan put Kilbride back in front. Blackhall kept the pressure on but Kilbride never gave up and went on to win the game by 1 point securing their well deserved place in the League Final. Well done ladies.
