It was very much a case of goals winning games for the visitors to Grangegodden on Saturday evening as they maintained their unbeaten run in the race for the Mooney Cup. 

The first two scores registered by the black and ambers being Donal Lenihan goals. On foot of which those who last lifted this trophy in 2014 opened up an early buffer of 2-03 to 0-02.

By half time, Craig Lowndes had also netted, giving Ger Robinson's side a 3-04 to 0-06 interval advantage. 

The Kells side did double their tally of points after the resunption but once substitute Cian Smith tagged on a fourth 'major' it ensured both points went home with the visitors.
