Clonard 3-9 Carnaross 4-13

Clonard travelled to Naomh Chiaran Pairc on Saturday 17th Feb 2024 to compete in the first round in Tailteann Shield.

A tight  and  competitive first half saw Clonard go into the  break 0-4 to 1-5 the scores from Eoghan Connolly (0-1), Keelan Scott (0-1)and Adam Dowdall (0-2).

As the hosts extended their lead Clonard found their shooting boots and responded with goals from Eoghan Connolly (1-0), James Connolly (1-0), Sean Kenny (1-0) and points from Eoghan Connolly (0-1), Adam Dowdall (0-2f), James Connolly (0-1) and Dylan Duignan (0-1). 

Debutants  Rourke  Shaw and Dylan  Duignan impressed in their first adult game. A good team performance despite the loss.
