Ex Meath manager Mick O'Dowd has been appointed manager of the Skryne senior football team.
O'Dowd came in on a temporary basis at the end of last year's championship but has taken up the role on a permanent basis.
In what looks a very interesting appointment, O'Dowd had brought in Conor Scully from Na Fianna as coach. Scully who is highly regarded in Dublin GAA circles coached Na Fianna to a Dublin senior league title and to the Dublin senior club championship final in 2022 where they narrowly lost out by a point to Kilmacud Crokes.
He has also added Monaghan native Aaron McNally as strength & conditioning coach. McNally was also at Na Fianna for the last couple of seasons during their most successful spell in recent times.
Exciting times ahead at Skryne.
