St. Pauls Navan had the game tied up within 40 seconds of the second half with an Alyson Halpin goal but Ratoath responded to that set back in fine style. The impressive Lauren Richardson raised her teams second green flag soon after and points from Richardson, Katie O’Brien, Prior and Lydia Jordan opened up a seven point lead.

Lily Maguire brought the Navan school back into the game with a fine goal but once again the Ratoath girls responded with a brace of points from joint captain O’Brien. Any hopes of a Navan comeback were put to bed in the closing stages with a Cait McElroy goal as Ratoath put Division 1 titles back to back.
