Kilmessan 1-13 Kildalkey 1-7

Kilmessan travelled to Kildalkey on Sunday morning for this Round 1 refixture knowing that a win would put them into the Under 21 Hurling Championship final against Trim.

Thanks to a Mark Horan goal Kilmessan led 1-7 to 0-5 at the break and despite conceding a second half goal they held on for a deserved six point win to set up a final date with Trim in Dunganny Sunday 10th December at 1pm.
