The early morning wind and rain failed to dampen the first day of the Allianz Meath Cumann na mBunscol football finals played on a perfect sod at Pairc Tailteann.

In the opening game Moynalvey after claiming the Division 4 title last year made it back to back title wins. Kilbeg made history by claiming their first ever title. Goals proved crucial for Gaelscoil an Bhradáin Feasa. Carnaross withstood a late charge from their neighbours. It was also a very first title for St. Joseph’s NS Navan.
