The parking arrangements for the SFC relegation final at Walterstown

In advance of welcoming the players, officials and supporters from Moynalvey and Skryne, and indeed Meath Gaels, to Walterstown on Sunday, we ask you all to take note of the below information to ensure all runs smoothly.

Walterstown GFC stewards intend to fill their car parking areas from the back up to the clubhouse end at the front. We ask that players and officials from both clubs enter via the main gate and turn right and then take an immediate left and drive down by our astro pitches to park on the bank at our back pitch (Car Park 1 in the above image). Please drive slowly down the astro avenue.

There is a shortcut route, via a throughway in the hedge for the players to access the main pitch/dressing room area.

Physios/kit personnel can drop off gear at the set down area straight on front of the main entrance gate before moving their cars down to the back pitch for parking.

Only players, management, sideline personnel and match officials will be permitted at the dressing room/main pitch area before and during the game.

Our two entrance gates will be in operation for the game and we ask supporters to use both. We will have ticket scanners on both gates.

Those supporters arriving first will also be directed to park down at the back pitch (Car Park 1) and when that area is full, we will then begin to fill the car parks (2 & 3) at the clubhouse end of our grounds. Should our own car parking spaces fill up, we have been kindly offered the use to the field directly adjacent to our grounds by a local farmer (marked car park 4).

In addition, we will have a tuck shop open at the front of the club house and will have soft drinks, crisps, chocolate, sweets, tea and coffee on sale. Both cash and card payments will be accepted, while our club bar will be open from 12.30pm and all are welcome to pop in after the game.

Lastly, Walterstown are looking forward to welcoming you all to our club on Sunday morning for this Meath GAA Fairyhouse Steel Senior Football Championship Relegation Final.
