Meath Hill 6-14 Dunshaughlin 0-4

Meath Hill got their second win of their league campaign with a comprehensive win over Dunshaughlin’s second team on Saturday evening.

Meath Hill and Dunshaughlin traded the opening scores in idyllic conditions in a windless and sun kissed Meath Hill .

The floodgates were to open however when Jake Gillen slotted home after a fumbled catch by the Dunshaughlin keeper. Gillen would finish with 2-2 on the night from his full forward birth. After the ten-minute mark Meath Hill took total control of the game and never really looked back.

Cormac Sheehy and Gary Breslin kept the scoreboard ticking over from placed balls as Meath Hill reached an insurmountable lead by the halt- time interval.

The second half was much of the same with Gillen scoring another goal and Jack McMahon getting in on the act with a neat first time finish after a deflection off the keeper.

Meath Hill will travel to Drumbaragh next.
