In a break with the tradition of games in Pairc Tailteann, Ballinlough will host the the Ladies National Football League Division 1 round 6 meeting between Meath and Waterford.
The fixture had been scheduled to take place in Navan but Meath GAA informed Meath LGFA that the venue was unavailable on March 19.
Meath host Dublin in the Allianz FL on Saturday 18 March and already tickets have sold out, with a crowd of 10,000 expected. Additionally, remedial work has taken place on the pitch since the men's league game against Louth.
The All-Ireland and NFL champions have endured a difficult campaign to date with one win, one draw and three losses in their five games including a heavy loss to Kerry last time out.
Waterford will come to the North Meath venue hoping to build on their 2-9 to 0-7 win over Donegal in round 5.
Manager Davy Nelson has used Ballinlough in the past month for training sessions. After extensive work to their facilities the club was voted Meath Club Grounds of the Year in 2022.
