Meath will have a representative on the Underdogs team to face National Hurling League champions Waterford on Saturday October 29th.
After last nights final episode where coaches John Allen, Jamie Wall and Claire O’Connor announced the starting XV, Philip O’Brien from the St. Pats club will start in goals.
O’Brien, who has impressed throughout the very popular series, lined out for the Stamullen side in their recent Junior 2 Hurling Championship final loss to Kildalkey at Pairc Tailteann.
The series followed the squad that also included Kildalkey's Paul Fagan over six months in preparation for the biggest game of their hurling careers.
The game which is live on TG4 at the SETU Arena in Carriganore at 8pm will be Davy Fitzgerald's first game in his second stint as Waterford manager.
