HL Div 4: Kildalkey fall short to table toppers

Kildalkey took on top of the table Dunboyne in Dunboyne on Thursday evening and just fell short by 2 points on a score line of 2-16 to 2-14 

Ryan Byas was playing well and scored 5 points 4 from frees but was busy throughout Steven Murray Joey Finnane and Matt Cully were others to score in the first half as Dunboyne led 2-7 to 0-8 

Paul Fagan had the ball in the net twice for Kildalkey’s first two scores of the second half and  brought Kildalkey back into contention as further points from Arron Byas Will power with 3 frees Maurice Keogh and Murray with a ball that whizzed over the crossbar kept them in touch but a strong dunboyne held out by 2 Kildalkey were well served by the Byas brothers Arron and Ryan the Murray brothers Kevin and Stephen Enda Fitzgerald Martin Browne and Maurice Keogh
