Round 2
Meath v Westmeath at 2pm in Kinnegad
Meath will be hoping to follow on from their impressive opening round win over Kildare. When the two counties met in last years league Meath left Kinnegad with a 1-8 to 0-4 win. Westmeath opened their account with a 1-10 to 2-05 win over Dublin
Sunday 23rd May
Allianz FL Division 2 North round 2
Down v Meath at 3.45pm in Athletic Grounds Armagh
Meath staged a late rally to beat Westmeath while Down were easily beaten 2-21 to 1-11 by Division 2 favourites Mayo in Elverys MacHale Park.
The last time these two counties met in the league Meath recorded a 4-14 to 1-14 win at Pairc Tailteann. The Mourne county men were relegated to Division 3 that year.
Allianz HL Division 2A round 3
Kerry v Meath in Austin Stack Park at 1pm
After a disappointing opening round loss to Offaly, Meath got back on track with a comfortable win over Wicklow in round 2 in Aughrim. Kerry were surprisingly defeated easily by Offaly last weekend but The Kingdom recorded a 4-18 to 0-19 victory over Down in round 1.
LGFA Division 2 National Football League
Round 1 Meath v Kerry at 3.00pm, Pairc Tailteann
Kerry will have the honour to be the first team to take on the All-Ireland Intermediate Football Championship winners. The two teams were to meet in round 5 of last year's competition but Covid-19 put paid to that one. The Kingdom were unbeaten at that stage.
