Dunshaughlin Community College claimed the North Leinster Colleges Football Junior B title today overcoming a strong Colaiste Choilm, Tullamore side played today in St.Lomans GAA in Mullingar.

Both sides went into the break 1-3 a piece but Dunshaughlin came out stronger in the second half. Two goals in quick succession midway through the second half from Dunshaughlin's Chris Pullen (penalty) and Vinny Walsh gave DCC a seven point lead but Colaiste Choilm dragged themselves back into the game with a 1-1 without reply to leave just a goal between the sides as they entered the latter stages. However, despite losing centre forward John Cullen to a black card, Dunshaughlin dug deep and pulled away with three great points from wing forward John McDonagh.

Overall this was an excellent team performance with notable contributions from Jared Rushe and Fursey Blake in defence, Conor Gray in midfield and Zak Farrell and John McDonagh in the forwards.
