Moynalvey 2-16  Longwood 1-6

Moynalvey recorded a comfortable win over last years IFC winners Longwood in this round 3 Group B Meath SFC game played in Summerhill.

In an even opening half the winners held a slender 0-5 to 0-2 lead. Shane Lenehan got the games opening point and further scores from Cillian O'Sullivan (2), David McLoughlin, Mark O'Sullivan gave Moynalvey that three point cushion at they break.

Longwood had the game all square in the 5 minute of the second half with a quick goal and a point but from there on it was all Moynalvey outscoring Longwood 2-10 to 0-3 for the remainder of the game. Two goals inside a minute from Padraic Harnan and Shane Lenehan midway through the half put daylight between the teams and Moynalvey went on to record a comfortable win.  

Four teams, Ratoath, Moynalvey, Donaghmore Ashbourne and Summerhill share top spot on four points in Group B. Next up for Moynalvey is a trip to Skryne to face Ratoath.
