Meath Hill 1-16 Oldcastle 0-9
Meath Hill led from pillar to post to record a fine victory in round 3 of the IFC played at Ballinlough on Sunday afternoon.
Meath Hill settled quickly and pointed frees from Mark Tully and Dominic Yorke gave them a 0-6 to 0-1 lead after 17 minutes. Tommy Rooney and Jack McMahon added further points from play to leave the Hill leading by 6 points, 0-8 to 0-2 at half time.
The second half was played along similar lines and fine points from Rooney again and Paddy Matthews either side of a well taken goal by Tomas Smith meant Meath Hill were always in control.
Two victories from three games for Meath Hill now, with Drumbaragh up next in 2 weeks.
