The week in review:-
Thurs 6th Sept
- 18:30 in K-wood: U13 Roinn 4 Rd2. Result Kilmainhamwood 7-10 : 0-3 Ballinabrackey

Sat 8th Sept
- 13:00 in Dunboyne: Kilmainhamwood Over-40s took part in a football tournament in aid of Autism Unit in Dunboyne Junior School. Over 20 teams took part, including Dublin v Meath selection from the 1990s! With gallons of deep-heat and miles of strapping, the Kilmainhamwood greying legends dispatched Drumree, Blackhall Gaels and Dunboyne in the groups stages to top their group. Skryne were up next in a well contested semi-final that resembled many of the great battles between these two teams in the 1990s, with the Wood coming out the right side of a one point match. However, the semi-final came at a cost with the loss of true living legend Aidan Crosbie to injury. St. Peregrines were the opponents in the final and their 15-man squad was just too strong for the lads from the Wood, but we'll be back. After match festivities went on long into the night when the legends hit the dancefloors of Navan, I mean literally hit the dancefloors as they weren't able to walk!
