Gaelscoil an Bhradain Feasa 2-13 (15) V St Marys NS Donore 1-4 (5)
The 2nd of the Corn Cois Farraige's semi finals saw the Mornington Gaelscoil take on St Marys NS from Donore. The first half opened with the Irish school racing into a 3 point lead courtesy of 2 points from Oisin O'Mhurchu and 1 from Eoin O'Comain. St Marys were game at this stage and two scores from full forward John O'Brien reduced the margin to 1 after 10 minutes of play. The influential O'Mhurchu however was now to the fore and over the course of the remainder of the first half he hit another 4 of his sides 6 scores, the other two coming courtesy of Mitchell De Faoite and Mark O'Neill to see Gaelscoil an Bhradain Feasa lead 2-7(9) V 1-1(2) at the break.
The 2nd half continued much in the same vein as the first half and as the Irish school turned the screw, so did the St Marys challenge begin to fade. Mark O'Neill grabbed his 2nd score of the day before further scores from Oisin O'Mhurchu, Mitchell De Faoite and O'Neill with his 3rd of the afternoon saw his side race to a 11 point lead. Sean Nulty to his credit replied with a nice point but back came the Gaelscoil with two more scores this time from James McElligott and Eoin O'Comain to increase the margin to 12 points. Kyle Carrol did manage two consolation scores for his side to reduce the deficit at the end to 10 points as the referee blew for full time.

Man Of The Match. This was a entertaining game. St Marys were game for periods in the first half but when the Gaelscoil got serious they really started to dominate. Sean Nulty, Kyle Carroll and full forward John O'Briend have had a great competition and carried that form into todays match. For Gaelscoil an Bhradain Feasa they had any amount of star performers. Darragh Walsh was superb throughout as was Luke Conlon and Eoin O'Comain. At the baack Cera Christie and Sorcha Nic an Aba have been playing great and are not afraid to attack the ball and mix it with the boys. However on the day the star man was Oisin O'Mhurchu. He has a big reputation as a fine footballer with St Colmcilles and his play today was really top drawer. He Kicked 2-5, had a hand in nearly every other score and his workrate is great to watch. He is a big player for the Gaelscoil and if he can bring this form to Pairc Tailteann the Mornington School have every chance of lifting this years Corn Cois Farraige. Superb display from the Gaelscoil an Bhradain Feasa Player
