Search for Meath Ladies Rose of Tralee

February 20, 2014

Meath Rose Cliodhna Russell with former Meath great Bernard Flynn
The current Meath Rose is Cliodhna Russell who comes from Slane, of which her family were heavily involved with the local GAA club.

Cliodhna is travelling to Chernobyl this weekend to spend a week volunteering for the Adi Roche foundation. Meath Rose of Tralee coordinator Gordon Weldon has organised a Pub Quiz in Beggys Bar Navan at 8pm tonight (20th) to raise funds for her charity.

This event will also be used as an information night to the upcoming Meath Rose selection night taking place on Sunday April 27th in the Ardboyne Hotel. For any Ladies Gaelic footballers and camogie players wishing to enter the Meath Rose, this would be a brilliant opportunity to meet and greet with Cliodhna and some previous Meath Roses.
