Kildalkey captain Tiarnan Bird raises the Meath U15B hurling league shield to the delight of his team mates at Boardsmill
Kildalkey 5-8
Kilmessan 3-7

Kildalkey retained the Meath Under 15B Hurling League title at Kilmessan's expense at a very well appointed Boardsmill.

Kilmessan started the better and after fifteen minutes led 1-2 to 0-2, the goal coming from half foward Shane Walsh. Kildalkey then hit a purple patch. Half back Steven Murray found the net and this was followed up with 1-1 from Eoin Kelly and a brace of points from the influential Conor Kearney to give Kildalkey a 2-6 to 2-2 half time lead.Kyle Donnelly got the second goal for Kilmessan after his shot from forty yards out ended up in Oisin Smith's net.

Kildalkey had the game won in the opening five minutes of the second half. Two goals from Conor Kearney put them ten points ahead. Kilmessan did rally with points from Niall Gorman, Kyle Donnelly and Joshua Dennehy plus a goal from Eoin Harkin gave them some hope. But Kildalkey's Eoin Kelly put the issue beyond doubt with his second goal five minutes from time.

After the game Ken McKenna presented the U15B shield to Kildalkey captain Tiarnan Bird.
