Mayo legend Cora Staunton has been included in the 2021 AFLW Team of the Year.
The 39-year-old is named among the forward after kicking 10.3, 10 goals for her club Greater Western Sydney (GWS) Giants this year.
Having first joined the Giants in 2017, Staunton suffered a horrendous leg injury in 2019 before making a full recovery the next season.
A four-time All-Ireland winner and 11-time All Star, she has since gone on to become of the Giants key players Down Under and her performances this year have been rewarded with a place on the league’s Team of the Year shortlist which can be seen below.
