CLUB RESULTS

The Senior Ladies had a good start to their year with a challenge game v Stabannon Parnells which ended in a draw. On Sunday the Ladies lost heavily to Kilkerley Emmets in the 1st Round of the League. Hopefully the girls can get back on track next week and well done to some of the younger girls who played adult football for the first time.  The Senior men lost to Roche Emmets by 10 points in the 1st Round of the Paddy Sheelan Cup on Monday and then followed this up with defeat to Mattock Rangers in the 3rd Round of the Sheelan Cup by 4 points. The team management will be hoping that all players can regain fitness & that a full panel is available for selection to take on the Oliver Plunketts in the 1st Rd of Div 2 next Sunday.  Hard luck to the U14 girls who lost their first game of the season on Monday night against the Geraldines. Great to see the girls back playing and such a strong panel for the coming season.  The U15 boys had a good result as they drew with St. Kevins while St. Anne's/Blackrock/St. Brides U14s beat St. Fechins. St. Anne's U12s took part in a blitz in Philipstown.
