Lockdown 3.0 so far is hitting us much harder than the first and second time around. Whether you're a front-line worker, parent, cocooner, business owner, unemployed, working from home, or a student this is a very anxious and uncertain time for everyone. Now more than ever, it's important to take care of each other and our own mental health.  Stay safe, stay home, wash your hands & wear a mask

Club Officer Training - Week February 15th

This will be the last opportunity to avail of some of these modules as we approach the end of the CLDP training window.

As ever, pre-registration is essential via our online CLDP calendar -

As there are multiple workshops on simultaneously on the 16th, a reminder that all who register online for events will receive recordings of sessions.

A GAA Covid Advisory Group (GAA, LGFA & Camogie Association) meeting was held last night. It is the group's view that no on-field activity will be permitted – training or games – until Easter at the earliest (4th April).

We are thrilled to announce that Úna Caraher has officially been named Louth Volunteer of the Year 2020 by the Camogie Association.

Over the past few years, Una has served our club in a variety of roles and often holding several positions at the same time: Chairperson, Children's Officer, THDC Delegate, Executive rep & not to mention her position as U12 and U14 juvenile coach. Una has also been instrumental in the development of our club to form a one club model with the other Gaelic games in our parish: Naomh Fionnbarra Men's, Ladies and Juvenile Sections.

Una's valuable contribution to our club cannot be overstated. As a distinguished former player, working mother, determined administrator, supportive juvenile coach, understanding & kind hearted mentor, who always has an open ear and kind word for players young and more mature, we are delighted that Una is getting the national recognition that she deserves.

The awards ceremony will be held online on Saturday 20th February at 7pm and will be live-streamed on the Camogie Association's Facebook page.
