Naomh Fionnbarra club notes & St Annes Camogie club notes

January 25, 2021

Lockdown 3.0 so far is hitting us much harder than the first and second time around. Whether you're a front-line worker, parent, cocooner, business owner, unemployed, working from home, or a student this is a very anxious and uncertain time for everyone. Now more than ever, it's important to take care of each other and our own mental health.

Over the next few weeks starting on Monday, we will be posting ways in which we can control our stress & anxiety in the Covid world by building resilience and mindfulness.

Topics we hope to cover include:
🔹️Signs of stress & anxiety
🔹️Sleeping well
🔹️Healthy eating
🔹️Exercising & routine ‍♀️
🔹️Social media & switching off
🔹️Distraction, relaxation & new skills
🔹️Working & studying from home ‍
🔹️Connecting with & supporting neighbours, friends & family
🔹️Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
🔹️Meditation, yoga & breathing 🧘‍♀️
🔹️Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) strategies ✍

Stay safe, stay home, wash your hands & wear a mask
