Charlie McAllister Bursary: The bursary scheme in memory of the late Charlie McAllister is administered by Louth County Board. Bursaries will be awarded to three males and three females who are attending a full-time Higher Education course. Applicants must: Be attending a full-time course at a University or Third Level College. Be in their first year of study at one of the above. Not be in receipt of any other Bursary/Scholarship or Sports Academy Scholarships. Be an active member of their local club in Louth either as a player, coach or administrator. The value of the bursary will be €1,000; each bursary will be paid in 2 instalments each year, November & February. Bursaries are for one year only and not renewable. Applicants are requested to download complete the Bursary Application Form from the Louth GAA Website or from your club secretary and return it to the Secretary of the County Board before the 28th October 2018. Halloween: Kids Halloween Fancy Dress Disco in our clubrooms on Sunday 28th October from 6pm – 8:30pm with the return of “The Tunnel of Terror” and the usual Ghosts and Ghouls. There will also be a pumpkin wall, so kids bring your pumpkins. Prizes for the best fancy dress and best pumpkin. Admission is €2.
Social Dancing: There will social dancing in our clubroom on Bank Holiday Monday 29th October from 9.00pm, music by Declan Aungier, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.
Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 24th October at 8.00pm, jackpot €6,400 in 48 numbers.
