GAA community reaches out to those in need during pandemic

March 13, 2020

A number of GAA clubs have offered their support to those in need.

Kudos to the GAA clubs who have responded in a very positive way to the coronavirus pandemic.

While all GAA activities may be halted until March 29 at the earliest, it hasn't stopped a number of clubs from offering their support to the elderly and those most vulnerable following the Government's decision to impose a partial lockdown of the country yesterday.

GAA club members are making themselves available to assist people with acquiring food, medication, fuel etc during this difficult time. Dunderry GAA club in Meath, for example, is teaming up with its local shop to ensure no vulnerable members of its community are left short of vital supplies amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
