Cian Lynch and his partner Dayna Slattery have announced the birth of twin baby boys.
The boys were born on June 29, but the couple opted not to go public with the news until after Limerick's All-Ireland SHC semi-final defeat to Cork last Sunday. The loss ended the Treaty County's quest for an historic five-in-a-row of Liam MacCarthy Cups, but the baby joy will undoubtedly help former Hurler of the Year Lynch to get over the disappointment.
The couple received hundreds of messages of congratulations after Dayna posted a picture of the new dad carrying his twin boys on Instagram.
