This was a tight between two evenly matched teams, with Templeglantine been slightly better team on the night winning out by winners by two points on the night.

 

Templeglantine scored the first two points of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored their first goal of the game to take lead by a point for the first time during the game with the goal coming from Derry McCarthy.  Templeglantine scored the next two points to take the lead back again by a point and then Garrett Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to bring sides back on level terms for the second time during the game.  Templeglantine scored the three points to take again by three points and then Jack Pierce scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to reduce the lead down to two points between the sides.  Templeglantine scored the next two points to lead by four points and then Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point to leave three points between the sides.  Templeglantine scored the next two points to lead by five points and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-6 without reply from Templeglantine with the goal coming from Michael O’Sullivan and the points came from Niall O’Brien, Derry McCarthy, Keith Lacey, Garrett Noonan, Kevin Noonan, and Jack Pierce to lead by lead by four points at the break.  To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-09 to Templeglantine 0-11.

 

Templeglantine scored the first point of the second half to leave three points between the sides. Derry McCarthy scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave four points between the sides and then Templeglantine scored the next scored the next four points without reply from Dromcollogher/ Broadford to bring sides back on level terms for the third time during the game.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points with two points coming from Derry McCarthy and the other point coming from Keith Lacey to give us lead of two points and then Templeglantine scored the scored the next six points without from Dromcollogher/ Broadford to lead by four points.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last two points of the half to leave two points between the sides at end of the game with both points coming from Derry McCarthy. To leave the score at full-time Templeglantine 0-22 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-14.

New Defibrillator and Defibrillator Training

 

On behalf of Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA we would like to thank everyone that contributed to our fundraiser to purchase our new defibrillator and heated storage box. We now have a new LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator stored in a heated Defibstore 4000 Polycarbonate box and it is positioned on the front wall of our clubhouse.

Dromcollogher/Broadford GAA would like to train all of our community in how to use the defibrillator, especially given what has happened in recent times. We think everyone should avail of this opportunity. If you are interested in availing of this training for free please contact one of the following club members:

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

 

The following are the Results of the Lotto Draw that took place on the 19-07-2021, and the numbers were: 5, 17, 19, 28. There was no winner of Jackpot at €2,300 and there was one winner of the match three at €100 and that was Paddy Stack, Farrihy, Dromcollogher and the Lucky Dips at €50 each were: Siobhan Lehane, Tullylease and Bridget Curtin, Tullylease and next week’s draw will take place Monday 26-07-21, in the GAA Field, Dromcollogher and the Jackpot will be going up to €2,400 and the Match Three will be staying at €100.
