Team news: Hannon returns to Limerick starting line-up

May 21, 2021

Limerick's Declan Hannon celebrates scoring a first half point against Clare.

Declan Hannon returns at centre-back for Limerick as the All-Ireland champions get set to take on Waterford this Sunday at Walsh Park.

Hannon is one of seven changes in personnel which Limerick boss John Kiely has made for the clash with the Deise men this weekend, with Mark Quinlan (Garryspillane) also set to make his first league start at right half-back.

After last weekend’s defeat to Galway – a first for the Liam MacCarthy Cup since 2019 – Conor Boylan also comes in a left half-forward while Tom Morrissey and Aaron Gillane are also named in attack, with Diarmaid Byrnes missing out on the trip to Waterford through injury.

Throw-in is at 3.45pm.
