Intermediate Footballers Bow Out of Championship

Commiserations to our Intermediate Footballers who recently bowed out of the Championship. Rathkeale opened their season with a good win over Mountcollins in Round 1, before losing out narrowly to Claughaun in Round 2. That defeat set them up with a Quarter Final appearance with Gerald Griffins and unfortunately it was a game where we failed to get out of the starting blocks. Rathkeale lost out on the night on a scoreline of 1-12 to 0-06. Rathkeale will no doubt be disappointed with the season as a whole and will be looking to bounce back in 2021.   

Minor Footballers advance to Minor B County Final

Well done to our Minor Footballers who enjoyed a great win over Mungret in the County Football B Semi Final. Rathkeale ran out worthy winners on a scoreline of 4-09 to 2-08 in Croagh, to ensure their place against Ahane in the Final. Great result and best of luck to all involved in the Final which is scheduled for Clarina on October 3rd, throw in time is at 3.00pm.  

U14 Footballers Crowned Div 1A Champions

Congratulations to our U14 footballers of Cappagh/Rathkeale who were deservingly crowned County Div-1A Champions following their 2 point win over Fr Casey's in Mick Neville Park over the weekend. Well done to all involved.

Club Limerick Draw – Congratulations Fr Willie Russell & Martin Doherty

Congratulations to Fr Willie Russell who won the top prize in the September Club Limerick Draw, to earn himself a whopping €10,000 and also to Martin Doherty who won €100. We hope that they enjoy their winnings!
