St Mary's Kiltoghert and Mohill booked their place into the last four of the Leitrim senior football championship after comfortably coming through their respective quarter-finals today.
St Mary's finished 10-point victors over Aughawillan at Avant Money Pairc Sean MacDiarmada to ease into the semi-finals.
Having saw off 2019 champions Glencar/Manorhamilton last time out, the Saints were much more comfortable in handing Aughawillan a 3-11 to 1-7 on this occasion.
The goals of Diarmuid Kelleher and Robbie Lowe helped the winners to lead by 2-5 to 1-3 at the interval, and once Alan Doherty netted their third 10 minutes into the restart there’d be no way back for their opponents.
The later game in Carrick-on-Shannon saw Mohill demolish Gortletteragh by 4-25 to 1-1.
Cathal McCrann’s penalty in the sixth minute got Gortletteragh off to a decent start but they wouldn’t getting going after it as the holders hit an unanswered 2-10 from there to half-time.
Jordan Reynolds and Oisin Madden raised more green flags as the 33-point rout was completed.
