Hurling League final details confirmed as Football League final refs are chosen

Pairc Ui Chaoimh Cork

Páirc Uí Chaoimh will host the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 final between Kilkenny and Limerick on Sunday week, April 9.

The decider, which will be the first to be staged in the Cork venue in 42 years, will throw in at 2pm and will be broadcast live on TG4. 

The fixture arrangements for the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B finals have also been confirmed.

Meanwhile, the referees for this weekend's Allianz Football League finals at Croke Park have been appointed.

Kildare's Brendan Cawley will take of the Division 1 final between Mayo and Galway on Sunday at 4pm. Mayo's Liam Devenney will handle the preceding Division 2 final between Derry and Dublin.

On Saturday, Wicklow's Anthony Nolan will be the 'man in the middle' for the Division 3 final between Cavan and Fermanagh, with Down's Paul Faloon on the whistle for the Division 4 decider between Sligo and Wicklow which pits former Crossmaglen and Armagh team-mates Tony McEntee and Oisin McConville against each other.

All League finals must produce a winner on the day.
