Galway are the 2020 All-Ireland minor hurling champions after edging out Kilkenny late on in Portlaoise this evening.

A superb injury-time goal from Liam Collins proved the difference in a 1-17 to 1-14 victory for the Tribesmen as they recorded an unprecedented four-in-a-row and their 14th title in all.

The winners were comfortable for large portions of the first-half, building up a 0-10 to 0-6 lead before the young Cats battled back to within one after eight minutes of the restart.

It was nip and tuck from there and extra time looked destined at O’Moore Park until Man of the Match Collins made his intervention deep in the added minutes..
