Kerry defender Tadhg Morley says players are in a privileged position to be lining-out for their counties these days.

After recently securing their 21st National League crown, the Kingdom open their All-Ireland SFC campaign on Sunday when they take on Cork at Pairc Ui Chaoimh for a place in the Munster final.

Speaking to GAA.ie ahead of the derby clash, Morley says it’s “fantastic” to see the All-Ireland championships going ahead this winter.

“It is a privilege and honour to always to be able to play with Kerry and it is even more so this year when you have the opportunity to go and play the game that we love," Morley said.

"While a lot of the population can’t do things that they enjoy doing so we are in that privileged position.

"We are taking it day by day and week by week and it is fantastic that it is going ahead and giving the people at home, the Kerry supporters, something to cheer about.

“Something to watch and something to talk about during the week.”
