Tony Brosnan posted 0-9, including 0-4 from play, as Dr Crokes overcame Dingle by 1-15 to 0-11 to be crowned Kerry Senior Club Football champions for an 11th time at Austin Stack Park.

The victory was sweet revenge for the Killarney club who had lost to the same opponents in the group stages a few weeks ago. Just back from the US, Micheál Burns also excelled for Crokes against a Dingle side whose entire tally was accounted for by the Geaney cousins, Paul, Conor, Dylan and Mikey.

The winners raced into an early 1-4 to 0-1 lead thanks to a Cian McMahon goal and points from Brosnan (three) and Cian McMahon. Dingle improved in the second quarter, but still trailed by 0-5 to 1-7 at the interval.

It was tit-for-tat for most of the second half with Dingle unable to muster the goal they needed. They finished with 14 players after Conor Flannery received a red card in the closing stages before Brosnan applied the coup de grace with his ninth of the afternoon.
