The Camogie section of Salthill-Knocknacarra GAA Club held their teenage medal presentation the U16 County Champion winners and the U13 County Champion finalists in the Aras Clubhouse last Sunday. The gold and silver medals were presented by Anne Marie Hayes, All-Star and All Ireland Champions who spoke eloquently about her successes with Galway this year, culminating in September in Croke Park and exhorted the girls to continue together as friends and team-mates. She reminded the teenagers that success comes when effort is applied, sentiments endorsed by John Donnellan the U13 manager. John Hanahoe the u16 manager acknowledged the valuable input to his panel from the younger players and thanked his backroom team for their crucial contributions.
