St Brendan’s Killarney secured another Munster (Corn Uí Mhuiri) senior A football title success after overcoming Cork’s Rochestown College earlier today.
It finished 1-12 to 1-4 in Mallow, where Glenflesk’s John Kelleher's second-half goal paved the way for the Kerry students towards back-to-back provincial titles.
The Connacht final saw Sligo’s Summerhill College record a 0-16 to 1-9 victory over Claregalway College.
Jack Mullen’s goal saw the Galway side leading by 1-5 to 0-4 at the halfway stage in the Connacht Centre of Excellence.
Summerhill College found another gear after the turnaround though as Ronan Niland and Eli Rooney shot them to provincial glory and into the Hogan Cup semi-finals.
